The purpose of this privacy policy is to provide you with a clear explanation of when, why and how we collect and use your personal information, as well as an explanation of your statutory rights.

If you have any concerns or questions, please contact: lillian@themodernergonomist.com

What type of information do we collect?

We collect two types of information: Personal Information (which could be used to uniquely identify an individual). For example, when you contact us through our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name and email address.

The second is Non-personal Information (which is non-identifying). Non-personal Information does not enable us to identify the Visitor or User from whom it was collected. The Non-personal Information collected by us mainly consists of technical and aggregated usage information, such as Visitors’ and Users’ browsing and bounce rate.

How do we store, use, share and disclose our site visitors' personal information?

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

We use Google Analytics to track and monitor traffic to our website, along with the tracking provided by our website provider, Wix. These two applications allow us to accurately track traffic acquisition (how visitors enter our site; if it’s via social media, a search engine or so on) and behavior (which is the user flow through our website, to see if there are any drop-offs at certain points, and to ensure that users appear to find what they are looking for quickly and effectively). Monitoring these metrics allows us to continue to improve our site for you.

No personal data is captured. The data collected by these applications is:

  • Unique computer IP address

  • Geographical location

  • Browser

  • Operating system

  • Device type and versions

  • Which pages you visit on our website, how long you stay and what you interact with.

Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a site visitor's browser. They are typically used to keep track of the settings users have selected and actions they have taken on a site.
